What about becoming a testing ground for developer tools? Early-stage software companies often need technically knowledgeable people willing to try their products and give detailed feedback. You already have an audience of developers and engineers, so you could organize small product-testing campaigns, publish the findings and potentially charge companies for access to that feedback. Do you know roughly how many of your readers actively engage with your articles?
