I built First Answer Deposits, a booking-and-deposits system any AI assistant can book (our PayPal AI Hackathon entry), and I have hours to set it up for local service businesses. A customer's AI assistant books the business over MCP, PayPal holds the deposit, and an AI office manager handles reminders, refunds, invoices and payouts by text. It is built and live. I would rather pilot it with real businesses now than let it sit.
Free public Ideas
Have you considered mobile pet groomers? They have limited appointment slots, travel between customers and often lose time dealing with last-minute cancellations. A booking system with deposits and automatic reminders could solve a very specific problem. I'd be curious whether the AI booking feature actually matters more to them than simply reducing no-shows.
