I have a collection of strategy board games and no one to play them with.

I have a number of board games that need several players and usually take an hour or two, with a good amount of strategy involved. I'm open to ideas on how to find people in the area interested in playing these kinds of games with me.

I would look at cooperating with some local cafe, some cosy place and put up notice there that there will be strategy board game evening on X day at Y time, people can book their place, it can be free as they will inevitably have a drink or snack, and fill up the place so a win for the owner too. It can become a nice thing to do that people will get used to and look forward to, can move places too and once you have built up some audience - people that come to play and you know you can count on them - you can even start demanding things from cafe/space owners - you are bringing an event and audience to them.

Another idea - birthday parties - we paid a fortune once for a birthday party for one of the kids that was basically a place where they go and can choose from a lot board games and play, there was food and cake clearly too but who's to say you can't just rent your games for birthdays?
