I’m good at finding out who owns property. What could that be useful for?

Posted by Tien · Location-independent

I’ve spent years researching property ownership, commercial buildings and real estate leads. I know how to track down who owns a property, check the details, and organise it all so it’s usable. Investors and brokers use this, but I suspect it could be useful in ways I haven’t seen yet. Someone with an idea for an empty storefront who can’t find the owner. A project that needs a list of unused spaces in one city. A partnership where finding the right property is the missing piece. Open to: ideas, partnerships, projects, and opportunities I haven’t thought of.

Years of experience researching property owners and commercial real estate. Curious where else that skill could create something.

Why I’m posting this

I'm open to connecting with property owners, managers, and real estate professionals who need research support.

I live in Kyiv and here there is a huge surge in businesses and schools searching for basements - spaces that were useless and abandoned are now hot property because of the war - they allow people to continue operating during air raids. There is not one place where you can search for that type of property. Now presuming (and hoping) you never get to do that sort of research, I would imagine due to climate change or some other factors, there must be certain type of properties that become suddenly a hotter market. Looking at problems that exist that can be solved by a certain type of location, trends, etc. Would be interesting to use your skills to be able to spot those before they become a trend and highlight them - can be a newsletter or a website?
