I've written a hands-on guppy breeding book. Who could help it reach fish keepers?
Posted by Timothy Lackey · Lansing, United States
I bred and sold rare show guppies for years, imported fish, and shipped live fish across the US and overseas. I put everything I learned into "Guppy Lines", a practical guide to breeding fancy guppies on purpose: back breeding, line breeding, the genetics in plain English, fish room setup, fry care, and how to sell and ship live fish. It's written and publishing on Kindle soon under my pen name Erlin Darkbrook. I'd love to team up with fish stores, breeders, aquarium YouTubers, clubs or newsletters, for example bundles, reviews, giveaways or cross-promotion. It's the first in a series of fish-keeping books, so there's more to come.

Why I’m posting this
I have a finished book and fish-keeping know-how, but no audience yet.

I love this post! Threw me back in childhood, had an aquarium of guppies:)) What have you tried so far in terms of promotion? Where can one find the book? Do you have some community (newsletter, blog etc)?
What about creating a printable breeding log as a companion to the book? Something where aquarists can track parent fish, colours, generations and outcomes. You could give it away to aquarium clubs and breeders with a link back to the book. Since line breeding is one of your main subjects, this would be a practical tool rather than just another promotional flyer.
