Ideas for adult trinket trade box as well as local artist spotlight

I am creating a trinket trade box for people in my neighborhood but would love to collaborate on ideas for a great trinket trade box/free library for adults. What would you love to get if you were an adult going to one of these? Blind date with a book? Coffee cups? Homemade treats? I welcome all ideas! Are you someone who would like to send items for the box along with a business card to advertise for local artists?

Free public Ideas
It could be interesting to consider a rotating “artist of the month” postcard could work well: a small print people can take, with the artist’s story and shop link on the back. A nearby print shop could sponsor the first run. That gives artists a measurable introduction to neighbours without turning the whole box into advertising.
