I’ve been learning GA4 analytics, SEO and GEO, which is about getting found when people ask AI tools for recommendations. So far I’ve only practised on my own website, growing its traffic. I’d love to try it on something real: a business nobody can find online, a creator who wants more reach, or an idea I haven’t thought of.

Could you run an experiment comparing traditional Google rankings with recommendations from AI assistants? Pick ten small businesses in the same industry, record where they appear in search results and whether AI tools mention them, then investigate what the visible businesses have in common. Even if the findings are inconclusive, documenting the process would make an interesting portfolio project. It would also give you something more convincing to show potential clients than simply saying you've studied SEO and GEO.
