Would be great to expand a bit on what is HCD I think many people don't even know what is it and so - why they would. need it
Sure! In a nutshell, Human-Centered Design (HCD) means building things to fit how humans actually think and behave, instead of forcing humans to bend over backward to figure out a broken machine or system.
As Don Norman (author of The Design of Everyday Things) would tell you, it boils down to a few, plain-English ideas:
• Stop blaming the user: If a person pushes a door that says "pull" (known as a "Norman Door"), it is not the person's fault for being foolish; it is the designer's fault for making a bad door. The design should intuitively *show you* what to do without needing a manual.
• Find the real problem, not just the symptom: When someone asks for a faster horse, they don't actually need a horse—they need to get somewhere fast. You have to dig past the surface complaint to find the root issue.
• Look at the whole system: A product doesn't live in a vacuum. If you fix one tiny piece of a hospital or a city without looking at how doctors, patients, cleaners, and schedules interact, you just break something else down the line.
• Test it with real people and keep it simple: Don't guess in a dark room for a year. Build a cheap, tiny prototype, put it in front of a real person, watch them struggle with it, fix what went wrong, and repeat.
(Btw: Don Norman later expanded this into Humanity-Centered Design, arguing that we need to design not just for individual users, but for entire living ecosystems and the long-term future)

I just got the book! That sounds like a philosophy that can (and should) be applied to a lot more than just everyday things. Thank you for sharing.
So with that in mind, I think should maybe have some very clear defined packages to audit someone's website/app, highlight issues and give suggestions on how to improve. Those can be tailored to different audiences (say basic, business and pro) where you go from a basic review with just pointing out obvious issues to a full on report with concrete next steps etc. I think nowadays people are so busy they need things that are easy to grasp and execute on like 1,2,3. Here is your problem (that you don't even know you have) - here are 3 solutions based on your budget and time. Can pitch to people literally opening with an issue you found on their site - Hi X, I am an HCD expert, did you know your site xxxx.
